Looking To Lose 40 lbs?
Here’s Sidney’s Weight Loss Program.
It all started with Herbalife’s program. I went with the middle of the pack and it started making some dents on my weight. I went from 205 lbs to between 180 – 185 lbs. However, despite all the efforts, getting my weight under 180 lbs for the first time in 12 years remains elusive. I had to find a different strategy. One day, I went to Puritan’s Pride looking for solutions, found this thing called hoodia, which is used by these people from South Africa to keep them from being hungry while hunting. After researching this term “hoodia” and found out that it’s strictly a plant, I decided to give it a shot.
About two weeks later, I noticed my pants started to become loose. I decided to check my weight and boy, my weight was at 176 lbs. Well low and behold, I have to say that it worked well for me. It was the first time I ever got my weight under 180 lbs in 12 years.
So what did I do? You take one dose of “hoodia” tablet before meals (follow the instructions). I do the shake in the morning and sometimes at lunch. Buy some frozen fruit in either your local Costco or Sam’s Club store, get some protein powder that has less sugar, and mixed it with milk. I use a professional grade blender because it seems to be more effective than the $20-$30 ones. To keep my body greened up, I also take Trader Joes’ Very Green. Be sure you take the recommended dosage. I also take some off the counter multivitamin tablets (one-per-day).
Here are the dates, weights, and my size pants:
December 2005 – 205 lbs and size 40 pants
December 2006 – 185 lbs and size 38 pants
December 2007 – 170 lbs and size 36 pants (and that’s already loose on my waist)
February 2008 – 168 lbs and size 36 pants (and yes, still loose)
May 2013 – 165 lbs and size 36 pants – I absolutely need a belt my pants will fall down to the ground. However, I like it loose too.
I can eat fast food like McDonalds and Carl’s Jr. and still maintain my weight between 165-168 lbs.
You must absolutely be consistent in doing this or the progress will stop.
I don’t know if this will work for you the way it did for me, but please check with your physician on what you are allowed to do. This is not for everybody and it should not be used as a way of getting around with your doctors advice. You should stop the program if you are experiencing some unwanted side effects. By the way, I am diabetic and was prescribed to take insulin. I did this to lose as much weight as I can, but gradually. You must give it some time and I did. My body seems to handle it better if I take my time.
The above things I mentioned are my suggestions. The decision to do this is entirely yours.
